Roger Clowater, MSc.

Roger Clowater graduated from Seneca College’s Corporate Communication Management Program in 1999 with high honors and was the recipient of the Canadian Public Relations Society’s Doris Whiteside Award for Professionalism. Roger operated Roger Clowater Public Relations since 2000. His clients concentrated in the tourism, sports, food industry and political sectors.

In 2010 Roger completed a Masters of Science in Public Relations at the University of Stirling, Scotland. His dissertation was on the use of performance appraisals in the public relations industry.  He understands the competencies needed for a practitioner at the entry-level and those required for a seasoned practitioner.

Roger is a professor in the CCM program at Seneca College.

Roger is responsible for the day to day operations and is a managing partner.

Jeff has been the coordinator of Seneca College’s post-graduate Corporate Communications Program since 2006.

Jeff is a managing partner and provides the strategic direction for PRofessional Temporary Staffing.

Principal

• Developed the curriculum for the Foundations of Corporate Communication and Public Relations course for Centennial College and their Bachelor of Public Relations degree program for 2012.
• Taught Public Relations Research and Writing for Public Relations II in the Corporate Communication Management Post-Graduate Program at Seneca College.
• Conducted a ten-month long political campaign incorporating all aspects of social and traditional media.
• Practices outreach through social media channels for business, personal and for clients with the intent to enhance ROI. 
• Operated an independent consultancy to private businesses, associations and organizations through personal sales and cold calling.
• Developed and launched a gourmet candy company and continue to provide the strategic direction and counsel. Developed and implemented the marketing, public relations and sales strategies as a result received the Canadian Specialty Food Association Award for Best Confectionery Product.
